What information/personal data do we process about our clients?
The data that we process on the basis of consent or legal basis is as follows:
name and surname (in the case of a natural person and a business firm, business registration number and registered office),
date of birth (only for managing directors of companies),
contact details (in particular postal address, telephone or e-mail),
name, surname and job title of authorised persons (necessary for communication in the context of the performance of the services)
information about the use of our products and services, including order history
2. From what sources do we obtain personal data?
We obtain personal data directly from clients and from public sources (in particular the Commercial Register, Trade Register, etc.).
3. For what purposes do we process clients' personal data?
We process the contact data of our clients primarily for the purpose of fulfilling the concluded contracts.
However, we also use our clients' contact details for the purpose of sending commercial communications relating only to our own services. These are generally for products and services similar to those we have already provided to the client. We may use these contacts for mailing purposes if the addressee has not already refused this purpose.
Anyone has the right to refuse the sending of commercial communications at any time, free of charge, by sending a message to sales@light-caps.com .
We would also like to point out that not every message you receive from us is a commercial communication. In the provision of a given service, it is sometimes necessary to communicate with users and clients, and with a large number of recipients this cannot be done other than by sending a mass e-mail. Therefore, some of the messages sent are not commercial communications (for example, notifications of changes to terms and conditions).
4. How do we process personal data?
Light caps s.r.o. is entitled to process personal data both automatically and manually, also through designated processors. Personal data are/will only be made available to authorised employees and management of Light caps s.r.o. or authorised employees of the processor, and only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing. 5. External advertising systems
Our website www.light-caps.com uses retargeting technologies from the Sklik service operated by Seznam.cz, a.s. This allows us to show visitors who have already shown interest in our products our ads in the advertising network of Seznam.cz, a.s."
We also use Heureka, Meta (facebook, instagram)
We also use Google's advertising system (Google AdWords). Through this online system it is possible to display advertisers in paid search results.

8. How do we protect personal data?
Light caps s.r.o. takes all technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data in the manner specified in the Act or other binding legal regulations and to exclude the possibility of unauthorized or accidental access to personal data, their alteration, destruction or loss, unauthorized transfers, other unauthorized processing, as well as other misuse of personal data. This obligation shall continue to apply even after the processing of personal data has ceased.
Personal data is under constant control, both electronically and physically. We have applied modern security and control mechanisms to ensure maximum data protection. We use the following security features to protect personal data:
Encrypted communication
We keep computers, servers, network drives, physical documents used to store personal data in a secure environment
All repositories are equipped with unique access passwords
We have paid antiviruses installed on all our devices
Access to personal data is granted only to employees or contractors who need it to perform their work on a "need to know" basis (e.g. billing, customer service, etc.). All persons who come into contact with personal data in the course of their work or contractual duties are bound by a legal or contractual duty of confidentiality.
We have set up a user access control, rights and role management system to ensure data protection from unauthorized access.
On request, Light caps s.r.o. is obliged to provide your personal data to state authorities (e.g. the Police of the Czech Republic, state authorities in the context of the checks carried out, if necessary, etc.).
9. What are your legal rights when processing personal data?
Right of access to personal data
The data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation from the controller as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed and, if so, to obtain access to such personal data. Thus, upon request, we will always provide our users with full information about the processing of those personal data where we are in the position of data controller (the request can be sent by e-mail to iwww.light-caps.com).
Right to repair
If a subject becomes aware that his or her personal data are being processed inaccurately or incorrectly, he or she shall have the right to have his or her personal data rectified without delay.
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
If personal data is processed for a purpose and is no longer needed for that purpose and our archiving period has expired, we automatically delete the personal data. If the personal data is processed on the basis of consent and the data subject withdraws consent, we will delete the personal data. It should be noted here that we delete those personal data for which we are in the position of controller. It should also be noted that the right to erasure is not absolute and if we have an objective obligation to continue to retain the data (e.g. bookkeeping), we will erase those personal data that are no longer necessary for the original purposes of the processing.
Right to restriction of processing
Data subjects have the right to request that we restrict the processing of their personal data (the request can be sent by email to sales@light-caps.com) if: (i) the data subject contests the accuracy of the personal data for the period necessary to allow the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data; or (ii) the processing is unlawful and the data subject refuses to erase the personal data and requests instead that the use of the personal data be restricted; or (iii) the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing but the data subject requires it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; or (iv) the data subject objects to the processing until it is verified that the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.
Right to object
If the data subject discovers or believes that Light caps s.r.o. is carrying out processing of his or her personal data that is contrary to the protection of the private and personal life of the data subject or contrary to the law, in particular if the personal data are inaccurate with regard to the purpose of their processing, he or she may ask Light caps s.r.o. for an explanation or request that Light caps s.r.o. remedy the situation that has arisen, in particular by blocking, correcting, supplementing or destroying the personal data.
If Light caps.s.r.o. does not comply with the request pursuant to the preceding sentence, the data subject shall have the right to apply to the Office for Personal Data Protection.
